The Article 6 Implementation Partnership (A6IP) is a global initiative dedicated to supporting more than 85 partner countries in implementing Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. Through its Global Support Package, A6IP provides tailored assistance to partner countries seeking to leverage carbon markets for emissions reductions while ensuring compliance with international reporting and transparency requirements.

Recognizing that each partner country's needs and priorities are different, A6IP tailors its Global Support Package to align with each country’s national context, ensuring that Article 6 implementation accelerates both climate ambition and sustainable development. Partner countries can select specific areas where technical assistance is needed, including:
- Article 6 Strategy – Developing strategic priorities, conducting abatement potential analysis, and identifying opportunities for market participation.
- Authorization – Establishing legal and institutional frameworks for carbon credit authorization processes.
- Reporting – Supporting compliance with Article 6 reporting requirements, including corresponding adjustments and transparency frameworks.
- Tracking – Assisting in the development of national or international registries for managing emissions reductions.
