The use of vol­un­tary cooper­a­tion under art­icle 6 of the Par­is Agree­ment is obvi­ous for Zam­bia. Build­ing on reforms and invest­ments from earli­er cli­mate ini­ti­at­ives, Zambia’s strategy for fin­an­cing its updated NDC is anchored in strengthened insti­tu­tion­al frame­works and innov­at­ive fin­an­cial tools. […] Zam­bia pri­or­it­izes mobil­iz­ing intern­al fin­an­cial resources, expand­ing access to con­ces­sion­al cap­it­al, lever­aging mar­ket instru­ments, and activ­at­ing car­bon fin­ance oppor­tun­it­ies under Art­icle 6 of the Par­is Agreement
