Intention to Use Article 6 Under NDC 3.0
Zambia will use voluntary cooperation under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement to fulfil part of its contribution. Further, the country’s enhanced legal framework through the Green Economy and Climate Change Act 2024, the carbon market framework, signed agreements with a number of countries as well as the carbon registry infrastructure and projects under development support the implementation of Article 6.
