Intention to Use Article 6 Under NDC 3.0

GoSL and oth­er stake­hold­ers have shown keen interest in the car­bon mar­ket pro­vi­sions provided under Art­icle 6 of the Par­is Agree­ment. How­ever, the country’s pos­i­tion or policy on car­bon mar­kets and trad­ing is yet to be dis­closed and is not reg­u­lar­ised yet. Presently, the draft Car­bon Mar­ket Strategy and Guid­ing Prin­ciples for Sri Lanka are under review
