A6IP Center Participated in the ADB Workshop on Policy Architecture for High Integrity Carbon Markets under the Paris Agreement

The Article 6 Implementation Partnership (A6IP) Center participated in the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Workshop on Policy Architecture for High Integrity Carbon Markets under the Paris Agreement, held in Singapore. This workshop connected key stakeholders including policymakers, the private sector, and organizations around topics such as carbon credits, Article 6, the Voluntary Carbon Market, sustainable development and national carbon market strategies, with a regional focus on Asia and the Pacific.

A6IP Center Director, Mr. Kazuhisa Koakutsu, participated as a speaker in Session 2, titled “Article 6 of the Paris Agreement - Post COP29”. Mr. Koakutsu spoke on the decision on Article 6 that occurred at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, and highlighted a few key findings from the Article 6 Implementation Status Report. He also shared about high integrity and net zero targets.
