Use of Article 6 Under NDC

[translated] To finance its contribution, which is conditional on obtaining international financial support, Tunisia intends to make full and voluntary use of the cooperative mechanisms provided for in Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, whether they are market-based (paragraphs 2 and 4 of Article 6) or non market-based (Article 6.8). In general, Tunisia wishes to engage in these cooperative approaches on all sources eligible for Article 6 mechanisms, and more particularly to develop the production of electricity from all renewable energy sources, and improving its energy efficiency, the control of emissions in the process sector, controlled and improved environmental management of waste and waste water, as well as measures agriculture and forestry and land use.
