Use of Article 6 Under NDC
The Argentine Republic reserves its position national and decision making in relation to the possible use of any market mechanism that can be established under the Paris Agreement, until negotiations on Article 6 of the Paris Agreement reach a conclusion in the framework of the UNFCCC. Until then, any operation involving reduction units emissions achieved in Argentine territory, both public and private, you must register and count with the express authorization of the National Government and, unless expressly provided otherwise, all emissions reductions in the territory national will be counted towards the achievement of the goal of the NDC.
