A6IP Center participated in Innovate4Climate (I4C) 2024 in Germany

Kazuhiza KOAKUTSU, Director of A6IP Center, participated in a panel discussion at Innovate4Climate (I4C) titled “Cooperating to achieve climate ambition: Buyers’ approaches to Article 6 implementation” on September 10, 2024 and shared experience with the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) while underscoring the importance of building knowledge, framework for cooperation, and experience on the ground.

A6IP Center also met with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) of Germany to share updates on each side’s respective activities and explore future collaboration opportunities. During the event, A6IP Center also strengthened coordination with strategic partners, the UNFCCC secretariat and the World Bank, and other agencies, including GIZ, CAD Trust, Verra and Gold Standard.
