Article 6 Implementation Partnership (A6IP) Center participated in the 2024 PMI (Partnership for Market Implementation) Facility – Global Knowledge Forum which is organized by the World Bank as their knowledge partner, and co-hosted some part of the event by joining in the facilitation as well as co-hosting the reception to provide the opportunities to casually discuss about the collaboration amongst the main stakeholders in the carbon market. The Global Knowledge Forum this time was conducted back-to-back with the IETA organized Latin America Climate Summit, and it was the opportunity to meet with the Latin American stakeholders on Carbon Market.
During the Knowledge Forum, not only facilitating some discussion, but also during the parallel mini-session, Kazuhisa KOAKUSTU, Director of A6IP Center, presented A6IP materials on Authorization, which can be one of the key for the carbon market/ Article 6 readiness, and which can be the core arrangement for the capacity building.
